How to Use — Spill Response Steps
- Step 1 — Stop the Source: Isolate the spill source — close valves, upright containers, or shut off equipment where safe.
- Step 2 — Don PPE: Put on nitrile gloves and safety goggles before handling any absorbents or contaminated materials.
- Step 3 — Deploy Sock: Encircle the spill perimeter with the absorbent sock to prevent the oil spreading to drains or clean areas.
- Step 4 — Apply Pads: Lay absorbent pads over the spill. Allow full saturation before removing and replacing with fresh pads if needed.
