How to Use — Spill Response Steps
- Step 1 — Alert & Cordon: Immediately alert nearby personnel and use the included caution tape to cordon off the spill area to prevent slip hazards and restrict access.
- Step 2 — Don PPE: Put on the nitrile gloves and safety goggles from the kit before approaching the spill to protect against skin and eye contact with hazardous liquids.
- Step 3 — Contain the Spill: Deploy absorbent socks around the perimeter of the spill to prevent it from spreading to drains, walkways, or adjacent areas.
- Step 4 — Absorb the Liquid: Place absorbent pillows over heavily pooled areas to absorb bulk liquid, then lay absorbent pads across the remaining contaminated surface area.
